The person will develop the PR relationship in Europe; improve the Nixon visibility and negotiate the advertising campaign. This role will require entrepreneurial initiative, strong organization skills, good communication to pull together goals and tasks, and adaptability to a multitude of business areas and disciplines.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
IMPLEMENTATION OF MARKETING PLANS
- Implementing and managing budget for advertising and specific events.
- Implementing and coordinate all requested for public relations, events, tradeshows, advertising.
- Implementing and manage all press relations for Nixon Europe.
EVENTS AND TRADESHOWS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizing media coverage of our tradeshows and events, meet all the media actors during the shows.
- Present the communication plan and last period results during Sales meetings (3 meetings a year)
for Distributors, Agents and Reps.
PR & ADVERTISING (MEDIA)
- Manage and coordinate all advertising material for Nixon Europe’s Advertising Plan as well as Distributors.
- Manage and coordinate all press release material, media kits & send outs to European Press.
- Communicate Nixon Europe PR activities to direct and distributors.
- Implementing Press releases distribution in line with target for Nixon Europe in press post/email.
- Develop on line PR and advertising.
- Manage and update all existing media & contact lists.
- Measure investment impact and propose to Marketing manager adjustments.
- Responsible of budget expenses agreed by Marketing manager.
KEY LEVEL OF COMPETENCE:
- Competence in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Exel, Powerpoint), Adobe CS (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Multi lingual is a + (French - English - Spanish).
- Good organizations skills.
- Proactive Marketing Approach.
- Reporting and Presentation skills.
- Follow and manage a budget for each media trips, events, advertising and exhibitions.
EMPLOYER, HOURS OF WORK, HOLIDAYS, SALARY:
- Nixon Europe is the employer, located at 33 Avenue de Tisserands , Soorts - Hossegor 40150 - France.
- Working hours, 9am to 6pm or as required, 1 hour for lunch. (1pm-2pm).
Weekend work is required to support events and exhibitions.
- Reports to Marketing Director.
- Weekly project list, Monday and Friday meetings for preparations and reporting, with Marketing manager.

- Holiday system as of French employer agreement-contract, 5 weeks pr year. Holiday dates have to be agreed with Marketing Director.
START DATE AND REVIEWS:
- The official start date is 1st February 2009.
- 30 days Trial Period.
- 6 month review.
- Annual review.
